Nothing on the phone requires a NoPwn data plan. The Pixel 10a is carrier-unlocked and SIM-free, so your own nano-SIM or eSIM works — and the licence, the VPN and the scrambler behave exactly the same. Our eSIMs are for people who would rather activate data without handing a carrier their name.
Using your own SIM or eSIM
- Any carrier, any country — the phone is unlocked and supports 5G sub-6
- Physical nano-SIM and eSIM both work; the 10a supports both at once
- Your carrier plan has no effect on the licence or the VPN
- Nothing in NoPwn OS reports your carrier, location or usage to us

How a NoPwn eSIM activates

Optional data-only eSIM. Nothing on the phone requires it — use your own carrier SIM or eSIM if you prefer.
Provisioned instantly to your order page — the QR and the LPA string appear there as soon as the balance covers it.
Why it is optional
The phone's security does not depend on connectivity being bought from us. A licence, a VPN profile and the scrambler are on the device; data is just data. Buy it here for convenience, or bring your own plan — both are supported the same way.
